About this event

Universities, pubs, streets & even waterways are the backdrop to the evolution of writing in Dublin. Join us from the Kellogg’s Skyline walkway on the roof of Croke Park as we look at these famous sites on our Writers from the Rooftop tour.

From Brendan Behan to Oscar Wilde, Dublin is famous for its vibrant literary scene and has produced some of the world’s most beloved storytellers. Ireland’s capital was designated a UNESCO City of Literature in 2010 and has produced Nobel prize winning writers, popular fiction megastars, poets and everything in between. The city itself is a wonderland for those with a passion for the written word.

Join us from the Kellogg’s Skyline walkway on the roof of Croke Park as we look at these famous sites on our Writers from the Rooftop tour. You’ll discover more about the bohemian quarter of Baggotonia, spot some famous Joycean landmarks & enjoy tales of modern Dublin scribes, all while taking in panoramic views of the city.
