Tymon Park in Tallaght, Dublin City, is a valuable resource for visitors and locals in the surrounding hinterland. Opportunities to avail of a wide range of outdoor activities for all age groups including walking, jogging and participation in active sport can be enjoyed here.

Tymon Park formally opened in 1986 as a regional park and is now enjoyed by many from the locality and beyond. There are pitches, a calisthenics and functional workout area, a dog park with the River Poddle flowing through the parks many lakes and ponds.

The park has four playgrounds, two of which are located at the Willington entrance. One playground is a traditional area catering for younger children, the other is a smaller neighbourhood sized playground at the Limekiln entrance. There is also a large natural playground for all ages, allowing children to be in contact with nature.

Tymon Park is a popular venue for many public events such as tournaments, band recitals, film and television shoots, family festivals in the summer, cross country races and circus performances.
