The Jeanie Johnston: Midterm Kids Go Free

- Family friendly
Tuesday, 17 February 2026 - Sunday, 22 February 2026
About this event
Step aboard the Jeanie Johnston this midterm and let the kids roam the decks of a real replica famine ship. And, from 14-22 February, they can go completely free.
This online-only offer lets one paying adult bring up to three children aged 12 or under, making it an ideal family activity while school is out. Kids can experience what it was like onboard a real famine ship and learn the story of the thousands of Irish people who fled the Famine and embarked on a treacherous voyage to North America.
With EPIC The Irish Emigration Museum just a 2-minute walk away, also running Kids Go Free, it's easy to turn your visit into a fun family day out in the Docklands.
Readers are advised to check with the venue before relying on the details published here.
