Ballinascorney Golf Club

Nestled in the foothills of Three Rock Mountain in the Dublin Mountains, Ballinascorney Golf Club offers a pleasant golfing experience and the warmest of welcomes to members and visitors alike. With its breath-taking views, it is one of the most enjoyable 9-hole courses in the country, offering a challenge to all standards of golfer.

Founded in 1971, the club moved to its current location in Kilmashogue Lane in Rathfarnham in 2002. It has continually improved the playing experience and in 2011 underwent a major redevelopment - the construction of new greens and tee-boxes as well as the addition of two new par 5 holes and a new practice area.

Ballinascorney also boasts a very lively social scene with Thursday Night Mixed fun golf running from April to September each year; an annual club trip to sunnier climes each Spring; bridge nights every Wednesday when the evenings draw in; and regular friendly golf competitions such as the BUFS (Brighten Up Your Fridays) during the Summer.

The fully-licenced bar is open during golfing hours and serves food for the weary golfer after a trip round the course.
Visitors, societies and groups are most welcome

Through all of these changes one thing has remained constant at Ballinascorney Golf Club – a well-earned reputation as the friendliest golf club you’ll find anywhere in the country.
