About this event
The Culwick Choral Society is delighted to be performing Handel’s ever popular Messiah in the new Whyte Hall in the Royal Irish Academy of Music under the direction of conductor David Leigh. The choir and soloists will be accompanied by a small chamber orchestra. The Culwick Choral Society, founded in 1898, first performed Messiah in 1942 in the Gaiety Theatre and it has been part of the choir’s repertoire ever since.
