Timothy O'Grady: I Could Read the Sky
Saturday, 27 January 2024
About this event
Haunted by the faces and the land he left behind, he calls forth the bars and boxing booths of England, the potato fields and building sites, the music he played and the woman he loved. An Irish life with echoes of the lives of unregarded migrants everywhere. This live show brings together words, music and photographs to tell the story.
Timothy O’Grady was born in Chicago and has lived in Ireland, London, Spain and, currently, Poland. He is the author of four works of non-fiction and four novels.
Join in for a special evening of readings accompanied by beautiful music and song. Part of TradFest 2024.
