The Thrash Blues - The Alternative Sunday Social Club

The Thrash Blues deliver loud, loose and raw punk n’ roll. The Dublin duo - featuring Ro on vox & guitar and Liz on drums & vox - have been gigging as a rhythm section since 2011. Then, in 2013 Ro swapped his bass guitar for a six string and off they went to form a band of their own and The Thrash Blues was born.

The Thrash Blues take influences from a broad spectrum of acts like The Stooges, Bad Brains, Talking Heads, James Brown, Funkadelic, Anthrax, Led Zeppelin, Thin Lizzy, U2, Queens of the Stone Age, Blondie, Fleetwood Mac, John Lee Hooker, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and Ramones and yet have carved a style and sound uniquely their own.
