The Last Five Years

This bold new production is a unique take on a modern classic of American musical theatre. The Last Five Years tells the story of the relationship between Cathy and Jamie, from meeting to break-up.

Audiences are brought into each character’s side of the story, with Cathy starting at the end and going backwards, while Jamie tells his story from the beginning. We are thrilled to be welcoming you to Smock Alley Theatre to experience this new company’s debut.
