The Old Liffey Ferry

The Irish Nautical Trust, along with the Dublin Port Company and Dublin City Council, provide The Old Liffey Ferry service to Dublin's Docklands.

The ferry service was first granted a charter in 1665 by King Charles II and it was eventually discontinued in 1984 with the opening of the East Link toll bridge (Tom Clarke Bridge).

The Old Liffey Ferry service runs between the Cill Áirne pontoon, Sir John Rogerson's Quay and 3Arena (The Point Depot) pontoon, from 07:00 to 19:00 all year round.
