About this event
Tony is a north side Dub with a life-long passion for wildlife and nature, for his day job he works as an environmental scientist.
Drawing was always part of Tony’s life, and while he dabbled with paints on and off over the years, he began painting seriously 40 years ago under the tuition of Dublin landscape artist Jerry Marjoram. Most of Tony’s work at that point was in acrylic paints and reflected his own interests in wildlife and wild landscapes, mostly of Ireland, but also pieces inspired by trips to Africa and Northern Canada. His works sold regularly in galleries in Dublin and Galway, at auctions, group exhibitions and through many private commissions.
