About this event
The concert will open with Mussorgsky's Night on Bald Mountain (arr. Rimsky-Korsakov), a thrilling and atmospheric piece that will set the stage for an exciting night. Next, the orchestra will be joined by its longtime guest leader, Orla Ní Bhraoin, as the soloist in Prokofiev's Violin Concerto No. 1 in D major, Op. 19, a stunning showcase of virtuosic violin playing.
