The Design Tower
- Rainy days
The Design Tower on Grand Canal Quay, Dublin City was originally a sugar refinery and is a listed building. The restored stone tower is now home to some of Ireland's exceptionally talented and award winning designers, artists and craftspeople and also the Access to Arts applied art gallery. Featuring silver works, ceramics, sculpture, jewellery, fashion and textiles, art gallery, music instruments and works from over 17 different designers, the Design Tower is a treasure trove of arts and crafts.
The Design Tower is situated on the banks of the Grand Canal at Grand Canal Quay, adjacent to Gallery Quay in the docklands and is a 15 minute walk from Grafton Street up Pearse Street. They are all highly experienced professionals in creative businesses, who operate in a totally approachable atmosphere. So you can come in and meet directly with the key creative people who actually make the work. All visitors are welcome.
See also the individual studios for contact information via the Design Tower website.
