Discover James Joyce’s only children’s story, The Cat and the Devil, brought to life by Morgan Cooke, Zita Monaghan McGowan and Molly Mew.

James Joyce’s only children’s story, commonly known as The Cat and the Devil or The Cat of Beaugency, was first written in a letter to his four-year-old grandson Stephen on 10 August 1936. In this playful tale, Joyce explains the story behind the cat of Beaugency with humour, charm and imagination. This marvellous story is brought to life in performance by Morgan Cooke, Zita Monaghan McGowan and Molly Mew.

The event is free and open to the public, booking available. There will be sitting and standing room available.
