Urban Plant Life Garden Centre

A unique Dublin shopping experience to remember
Dublin's unique and historic gardener's paradise. Dublin's only urban based garden centre nestled in the heart of Dublin's historic Liberties.

A definite must see that's situated under 10 - 12 minutes walking distance from a number of Dublin's tourist attractions like St Patrick's Cathedral, Christchurch and the Guinness Storehouse. Also located close to a brand new visitor attraction which has just opened close to us, Teeling Whiskey Company in Newmarket at the entrance to Cork Street.

If you happen to wander around their premises, it still has a lot of historic features within it's walls including a brick chimney and exposed stone walls that give a hint of what came before them. Who knows, you might even catch sight of a tadpole or two in the pond hidden within the boxwood garden.

Based at 110/111 Cork Street, Dublin 8 . Just look for the building with the large floral mural outside and you're there and entering an oasis of calm from the hustle and bustle of the street outside.

Visitors can while away some time either looking around at the extensive selection of plants, flowers and gardening sundries available at the garden centre or slow the world down by relaxing on our balcony with a coffee or tea from the in-house cafe - Blooms Cafe.

Well served by public transport with a frequent Dublin Bus service passing. The buses are the 151/77a and 27. They are also within walking distance of the Luas Red Line Rialto and Fatima stops.

So if a tourist to Dublin asks " Is there something a little bit different I can do in Dublin " Why don’t they head off in the direction of Urban Plant Life Garden Centre, where they are looking forward to giving tourists a friendly Dublin welcome and a unique shopping experience to remember.
