About this event

To mark international Women’s Day, Cór Linn celebrates the music of contemporary female composers, featuring the premiere of Psalm 61 by Marian Ingoldsby and a complete performance of Becky McGlade’s Missa Brevis.

The choir will also showcase music written by Sue Furlong, Elaine Hagenberg (Psalm 19) , Mia Malkaroff, Betty Roe, Ivette Herryman Rodriguez, Kate Rusby and Caroline Shaw (Psalm 84) , as well as a piece by Gracie Gilmartin, a member of the choir.

This short concert of about an hour will be conducted by music director Ciarán Kelly and accompanied by Carole O’Connor.
