Welcome in the New Year with a Viennese whirl of dazzling music, irresistible melodies and sparkling vocal gems from the worlds of opera and operetta.

Conductor Robert Houlihan and Celine Byrne’s ‘glorious voice’ (Bachtrack) lead the festivities with elegant waltzes and orchestral jewels by the Strauss family (including The Blue Danube and Roses from the South), the romance of Lehár’s ‘Vijla’ (The Merry Widow) and Oscar Straus’s ‘My Hero’ (The Chocolate Soldier), and Suppé’s exhilarating Beautiful Galatea Overture.
