Celebrating the 175th anniversary of the Royal Irish Academy of Music, the National Symphony Orchestra and Chorus proudly partners with members of the RIAM Philharmonia and RIAM Chorale.

Leonard Slatkin journeys onto vast oceans, from gentle tide to thunderous power in Mendelssohn's Calm Sea and Prosperous Voyage Overture, and the ever-changing seascape of Britten’s Four Sea Interludes from Peter Grimes. Vaughan Williams’ A Sea Symphony is a charged song of praise to life on the high seas.
