Isabel Nolan: Look at the Harlequins!

Ahead of Nolan’s presentation at next year’s Venice Biennale, this exhibition offers an insight into the artist’s studio practice, rich array of influences and diverse media, presenting sculpture, painting, tapestry and works on paper.

Isabel Nolan’s expansive practice incorporates sculptures, paintings, textile works, photographs, writing and works on paper, taking in cosmological phenomena, religious reliquaries, Greco-Roman sculptures and literary/historical figures, examining the behaviour of humans and animals alike.
