Dublin Lunar New Year returns for Year of the Dragon in 2024. Established in 2008, Dublin Lunar New Year (DLNY) celebrates, promotes and deepens the understanding of the East Asian/Irish relationship year-on-year.

Dublin Lunar New Year is a Dublin City Council initiative and works closely with the East Asian Community in Ireland to present a diverse and exciting festival.

With its renaming in 2021, Dublin Lunar New Year strives to broaden and grow its engagement with all communities that celebrate the Lunar New Year which include China, Vietnam, South Korea, North Korea, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Brunei.
