Double Bill Session: Oscillation & In the Vicinity of the Sun

'Oscillation' is a short film directed by dance artist Adam O'Reilly, featuring some of Ireland's top dance and movement talent from a broad spectrum of the Irish dance community. The film aims to serve as an archival piece, depicting the current state of Dublin's vibrant dance community.

‘In the Vicinity of the Sun’ is a dance film choreographed by John Scott, filmed by award winning filmmaker Luca Truffarelli with music by Michael Scott. Commissioned by the Five Lamps Arts Festival and located around Dublin’s Five Lamps North Inner City area. The film features a joyous celebratory group dance and seven solos by seven exceptional Irish based dancers of vastly diverse dance backgrounds, from Brazil, Dominican Republic, Ireland and Zimbabwe.
