October South Dublin's Hobby Month

October marks South Dublin’s Hobby Month 2025, proudly supported by South Dublin County Council (SDCC). This autumn, celebrate your passion with a variety of exciting hobby-themed events across South Dublin for all ages and interests.

Kick off with Robo Riots on October 4th & 5th, featuring robotics competitions and interactive exhibits. Also on these dates, IPMS Ireland offers scale modeling displays and workshops at Spa Hotel Lucan.

On October 11th & 12th, Dublin Brickcon showcases LEGO® creations while Octocon hosts Ireland’s premier sci-fi convention. Finally, on October 18th, experience the thrilling Liffey Descent kayaking race.
