About this event
Even through centuries of war, hardship and poverty, Dublin has always found room for love stories that capture the public imagination. Irish mythology, too, is rich with tales of heroic romance between warriors and captivating princesses. This tour winds through the city's hidden corners, uncovering these stories—many with surprisingly tragic endings! We'll also explore Dublin's unexpected connection to St Valentine himself: his mortal remains rest not in Rome, but in a casket within a Dublin church! The tour concludes in a former church, once the site of a notable wedding or two, where you'll enjoy two romantic drinks for the price of one.
