FIILI – Festival of Italian and Irish Literature in Ireland – at Istituto Italiano di Cultura and Trinity College Dublin with author talks, live interviews, readings in original language, simultaneous translation, book sales, and signing sessions.

The Italian Institute of Culture organises the Festival of Italian and Irish Literature in Ireland – FIILI – in partnership with Irish PEN/PEN na hÉireann and Trinity College Dublin and with the support of Literature Ireland, Trinity Centre for Literary and Cultural Translation and The Society for Italian Studies.

This September sees the third edition of FIILI, and we are delighted to welcome to Dublin so many outstanding writers, translators and poets from both countries.

The first day, Friday 26 September, will be dedicated to translation and the meeting with the author Joseph O’ Connor. The second day, Saturday 27 September will host various thematic meetings with simultaneous Italian-English-Italian translation.
