Step aboard the Jeanie Johnston for a guided tour of this historic famine ship, then continue your journey with a self guided tour of EPIC. One million Irish people fled Ireland during the famine, 2,500 took a gruelling voyage on the Jeanie Johnston.

Take a journey back in time, get an insight into life on board a Famine ship and hear the stories of the people who made the arduous voyage.

Then head into EPIC The Irish Emigration Museum to discover what happened to those who left, and the huge global impact they managed to have all over the world.

Your experience begins at the Jeanie, and you’re free to explore EPIC at your own pace afterwards. The Jeanie is located two minutes from EPIC.

Tours occur between 10am and 3.30pm every 30 minutes - a guided Jeanie tour takes 50 minutes while visitors should leave themselves 90 minutes to explore EPIC.
