About this event
In a fractured social media environment, we will cut through misinformation, bringing trusted experts directly to you with clear, evidence-based information.
Prof Donal O’Shea, Consultant Endocrinologist at St Vincent’s University Hospital, and Orla Walsh, one of Ireland’s leading dieticians, will offer practical tips to support healthier living.
There will also be a focus on obesity care, with insights into early diagnosis, person-centred approaches, and care pathways from Prof O’Shea, and Dr Ximena Ramos Salas, whose work focuses on preventing weight bias and obesity stigma.
Chaired by journalist Alison O’Connor (The Sunday Times), this is a free public meeting from the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland.
