Sacred Cows: Climate Change

Saturday, 21 November 2026
About this event
Climate change affects everyone, but are we having the right conversations about how to tackle it? Are farmers being unfairly blamed for Ireland’s environmental challenges? Is rural Ireland getting a fair hearing? And how do we balance climate action with protecting livelihoods, communities and the economy?
Francie Gorman, President of the Irish Farmers’ Association, joins documentary filmmaker and researcher Kevin Collins, whose work examines energy policy, climate change and the real-world consequences of government decisions. Sacred Cows promises a thought-provoking debate that goes beyond the headlines to ask what practical solutions might look like.
