About this event
Play Not Funny’s The Politics of Disgust takes a filthy, feral look at politics, propaganda and the things we hate. Two chaotic HR representatives, armed with markers, Post-it notes and some truly severe haircuts, embark on an increasingly unhinged attempt to teach audiences how to spot propaganda and survive their absurd reality. Part political education, part theatrical breakdown, part emergency workplace intervention, the show asks what happens when disgust becomes a political tool, and whether we can laugh our way through the mess.
*Content note: This show contains references to racism, misogyny and transphobia, and depictions of suicide. It also features smoke effects, strobe lighting and loud music and sound.
