IMMA is proud to take part in Palestine Cinema Days on 2 November, an international showcase of Palestinian cinema that brings audiences together worldwide each year around Palestinian stories, memory, and lived experiences.

This global initiative of 1,000 screenings will take place across the world in cinemas, universities, cultural centres and other venues. Now in its fourth year the theme of the 2026 festival is Cinema Across Borders. Stories Beyond Erasure. For decades, Palestinian cinema has been far more than a mere record of reality. It serves as a means of preserving memory, reclaiming narratives, and telling stories through their own voices and imagery. Today, amidst a fragile ceasefire, as the world slowly looks away, we are reminded of how easily Palestine can fade from media headlines even while its people continue to endure unimaginable loss. At a time like this, these stories become all the more vital.
