Come to the National Museum of Ireland- Archaeology and experience a Medieval Christmas with re-enactors and storytelling!

Pick up their Medieval Christmas Trail & roam through the galleries to answer the questions, meet with re-enactors from Laoch Living History. Discover a pilgrim on a journey, a monk and his writings, a games master with ancient games, and, if you are not feeling too well, make sure you go to the barber surgeon for your ailments!

Renowned storyteller, Niall de Burca, will be telling medieval Christmas stories. In Christmas 1351 the O’Ceallaigh; Chieftain of Uí Mhaine gave a great feast for the storytellers, artists and poets of Ireland.

Storytelling Workshops will be taking place for 45 minutes in the Learning Resource Room on the first floor and is not wheelchair accessible.
