Children of all ages and families are welcome to visit The National Library of Ireland for a fun-filled day of events including two exhibitions, two workshops with amazing authors, Lego colouring with our popular NLI Lego model and much more!

Author Workshops:

11-12pm Debbie Thomas: Join children’s writer Debbie for a fun-filled foray into the world of stories. For children 8-11 years book your free space at Learning@nli.ie

1-2pm Alan Nolan: How well do you know Dublin? Join author and illustrator Alan Nolan for a whirlwind workshop around Dublin’s lost landmarks. For children 9-12 years book your free space at Learning@nli.ie

Drop-in Events:

10-4pm Exhibitions: Both The Life and Works of WB Yeats exhibition with children’s trail activity sheets and the Tall Tales and Deadly Drawings exploring Irish children's literature will be open to all ages

10-4pm Lego model and colouring re-design your National Library of Ireland

2:30-4pm Reading Room open to readers young and old
