IMMA presents an exhibition showcasing the IMMA Collection and the history of the Museum since 1991 in The Narrow Gate of the Here-and-Now to celebrate IMMA’s 30th Birthday. A major exhibition presenting over 200 artworks in four themed Chapters.

This major exhibition showcases the IMMA Collection and the history of the Museum since 1991. Presented in four chapters, each one explores the past three decades through different thematic approaches. The chapters are: Chapter One: Queer Embodiment; Chapter Two: The Anthropocene; Chapter Three: Social Fabric and Chapter Four: Protest and Conflict.

This is the first time that the entire Museum has been given over to a display from the IMMA Collection and presents more than 200 artworks. The exhibition explores ideas of bodily autonomy, conflict and protest, the Anthropocene era, and digital technologies.

Tue, Thur, Fri & Sat: 10am – 5.30pm

Wed: 11.30am – 5.30pm

Sun: 12noon – 5.30pm

Closed: Mondays and 24 - 28 Dec 2021.
