Vintage Tea Tours

Vintage Tea Tours offers passengers a chance to take a step back in time and escape their busy life. Relax on board a vintage 1960s Routemaster bus which has been fully restored and decorated to the highest standard. Listen to jazz play while you relax and hear the hosts' favourite stories of Dublin.

Sit back and enjoy a full afternoon tea (vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options available). The seasonal menu includes a trio of freshly made sandwiches, freshly baked scone with jam, butter and clotted cream and desserts which include a seasonal fruit tart, cheesecake and their infamous chocolate brownie. There is a wide range of teas, coffees and hot chocolate to choose from.

The tour begins at the CHQ building on North Dock and travels around past Trinity College, Georgian Dublin, Merrion Square, St. Stephen’s Green, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Christ Church Cathedral, down the Quays past the Guinness brewery, into the Phoenix Park, back up the Quays, down O’Connell Street and ending back at the CHQ Building.

It is not a fully guided tour but hosts do share some of their favourite facts and stories about Dublin allowing you time to enjoy a chat over a cup of tea and food; the real Irish way. It’s a very personalised way to see Dublin as the hosts are always on hand to answer any questions you may have.
