The Round Room 200

The Round Room was built in 1821 for the visit of King George IV to Dublin and is located within the Mansion House buildings. It housed the first Dáil in 1919.

This summer, to celebrate 200 years of the Round Room, they are bringing a free exhibition at the Round Room that will take visitors on an interactive journey that tells the tale of the important role that the Round Room has played in Dublin’s history for the past two centuries from Royalty to Republic.

The exhibition will run daily from Monday 19 July - Sunday 29 August from 11:00 - 20:00. Tickets are free and available to prebook online.
