Rascals Happy Days Festival

Rascals Brewing Company is known for producing popular styles of beer with a Rascals twist; we’re not conventional and we like surprising people. That’s why Rascals Happy Days will be a food and drink festival with a twist!
They’ll gather some of the best Irish food trucks to park up at their Inchicore headquarters and spoil attendees with some top quality food for the day. Here’s the twist: they’ll have them use some of their Rascals beers in a selection of their fare. Whether it’s a marinade or a batter, festival goers will discover the fun of cooking with beer and will be left wanting more.
Their own pizza chef will be treating visitors to what he does best: making great pizza using renowned Irish produce including Clonakilty black pudding, Cashel blue cheese and Gubbeen farmhouse chorizo.
The day will be about matching great food with great beer. They’ll have some amazing local breweries setting up shop and pouring everything from barrel-aged stouts to mouth-watering sours. The festival will focus on discovering the huge variety of styles what makes Irish craft beer great.
It’s always better to show rather than tell: they’ll provide free brewery tours for the day. They’ll bring visitors behind the scenes and tell the story of the brewing process in a lively and informative way. The brewery tour takes in all the senses: they ask guests to taste and smell the malt, to savour the incredible aromas of various hops. It’s thirsty work!
Guided food and beer pairing sessions will take place during the day, with everything from chocolate to cheese being presented to visitors and complemented with appropriate beers. It won’t be just for enjoyment sake: guests will be told how and why certain flavours combine and create particular taste sensations.
And just to make sure everyone is having a good time, they’ll have DJs on for the day because no decent festival should be without some good tunes.
Rascals Happy Days festival will showcase something new, exciting and unmissable for visitors to Dublin.
