J.W Sweetman

J.W. Sweetman is a micro brewery and pub, café bar and restaurant, overlooking O'Connell Bridge. The site here at 1 and 2 Burgh Quay dates back as far as 1808 with a lot of history and stories to tell. By 1756, the Sweetman family had an extensive network of breweries in Ireland’s capital along with being revered architects, politicians and art connoisseurs. One of Dublin’s most historic brewing empires of the 18th Century was established by the respected and highly successful house of Sweetman. Housed inside this wonderful 19th century building today is a micro brewery, pub and restaurant.

J.W. Sweetman serves traditional bar food, as well as a full restaurant menu and extensive breakfast menu.
J.W Sweetman serves uniquely hand crafted beers brewed from the cellars with menu special guest beers. From Irish Stew to Braised Lamb Shank, Sweetman's Own Beer Battered Cod to the Brewmaster Burger, they believe the menu gives customers good quality and authentic Irish food.
