Eglo Records Showcase All Day Party

Design gang and party organisers This Greedy Pig are teaming up with Hang Dai, the city’s best Chinese restaurant-meets-nightclub, for the first of their Label Focus series of DJ nights, showcasing the work of the one particular record label in each edition.

First up is Eglo Records. Eglo was formed in London in 2009 by Alexander Nut and Sam Shepherd, the latter of whom is better known under his artist name of Floating Points and reflects the variety of identities found across a metropolis like London.

Floating Points, Swedish soul singer Fatima, Steve Spacek and the alternative hip hop of Shafiq Husayn are amongst the artists who have been released through Eglo, highlighting their love of jazz-influenced dance music, their eclecticism, and their dedication to amazing artists.

Alexander Nut and Sassy J will be running the all-day party with support from Move Slow, Mark Alton, and Will Dempsey on the wheels of steel across two floors in Hang Dai to round out the Bank Holiday weekend.
