Dublin International Youth Hostel

Dublin International Youth Hostel is the only youth hostel in the city. It is part of the Irish Youth Hostel Association which emphasises safety and security in budget accommodation for youth travellers and groups.

Dublin International Youth Hostel was originally a school and has its own church with stained glass windows and a confession box. The Church is now used as the location for continental breakfast, 365 days a year. The 24 hour hostel is situated ten minute walk from O’Connell Street and is an ideal base for visiting Guinness Storehouse, Croke Park and Glasnevin Museum.

Dublin International hostel has 280 beds in a variety of room types ranging from six to ten-bed dormitories, ensuite family rooms and private rooms. Rates include continental breakfast, WiFi, city maps, TV Room, pool table, self-catering kitchen, laundry facilities, conference facilities, charge points for electric cars, linen, and complimentary car and coach parking.

The Dublin International Youth Hostel is well suited for groups and has a chef who can also prepare packed lunches and dinners booked in advance. All guests are given a warm welcome by staff and can help with directions and suggestions for attractions and discounted tours in Dublin in most languages.
