Theatre, Stage & Film

“I think the only way that someone can destroy you is if you let them make you become something else.”

After an office party leaves Louise and Mark with sore heads and limbs, they're ill-prepared for the violence and panic of a suitcase bomb. Now, sheltered in Mark's garden bunker, they must wait with their tinned food, solitary knife and game of Dungeons and Dragons until it's safe to come out...but when will that be?

This political and psychological thriller, written in 2005 finds special poignance twelve years later, amid the chaotic headlines detailing the latest exploits of US president Trump and the ongoing confusion surrounding Brexit. Take a hard look at the human condition with Mark and Louise, and be prepared to question everything you think you know.

Don't miss the Irish premiere of Dennis Kelly's psychological masterpiece, After the End, on stage at the New Theatre in February.
