A Celebration of Wild Atlantic Sea Vegetables in a Vegan Lifestyle

Blazing Salads have been at the forefront of vegetarian and vegan wholefood cuisine in Ireland for over 30 yrs and authors of two best selling cookbooks. They have been proudly using Irish Sea Vegetables, sustainably harvested by Manus McGonagle of Quality Sea Veg company based at Burtonport, Co. Donegal for over 20yrs.

This free event takes place at the store on 17th October as part of the Dublin Town Food & Drink Festival which is running from the 14th-20th October.

Founders of Blazing Salads Lorraine and Pamela Fitzmaurice will share their knowledge, love and passion for Irish Sea Vegetables with free samples, recipes and live cooking demonstrations at 12:30 and 17:30 for this unique on street event.

Lorraine and Pamela will be bringing a focus on the day to the use of Irish Sea vegetables within the vegetarian and vegan diet. With the current rise of those adopting this lifestyle this is an essential free event for all ages.

This event is part of Taste the Island.
