From 21 to 29 Jan 2023, the city will celebrate Dublin Lunar New Year. With tours, exhibitions, screenings, performances, workshops, food offerings and much more, there are events for all ages to celebrate the Year of the Rabbit !

Founded in 2008, Dublin Lunar New Year is a programme of the City Arts Office.

To celebrate, promote and deepen the understanding of the Asian-Irish relationship by presenting an annual festival of arts, culture and exchange that brings traditional and contemporary ideas together in an innovative and exciting way.

With its renaming, Dublin Lunar New Year strives to broaden and grow its engagement with all communities that celebrate the Lunar New Year which include China, Vietnam, South Korea, North Korea, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Mongolia, Indonesia, and Brunei.

The festival is looking forward to building and diversifying its programming content for many years to come.
