Whitefriar Street Church is one of the best known places of worship in the city.
The church also holds the relics of St. Valentine given to the Church by Pope Gregory XVI in 1836. They're kept in a casket to the right of the main altar, but annually on St. Valentine's Day, they are carried out in procession for a special Mass.
