Museums & Attractions

The Irish Architectural Archive, Ireland’s buildings record and drawings collection, is located in No. 45 Merrion Square, and is a well known Georgian house in Dublin. Built for the speculative developer Gustavus Hume in the mid 1790s and situated directly across Merrion Square from Leinster House, this is the largest terraced house on the Square.

Light-filled, interconnected reception rooms on the piano nobile of this Georgian palazzo offer a range of venues and facilities: meeting rooms for up to twenty; multi-media lecture facilities for up to 55, banqueting space for up to 80, and receptions for up to 250.

Whether the event is a meeting, a conference with breakout sessions, or a private or corporate reception, the Irish Architectural Archive’s spaces provide Georgian elegance in the heart of Dublin.
