  • GAA Hurling All-Ireland Senior Championship Semi-Finals

Family Friendly

If you have ever watched or played a game of hurling, you’ll know not only how physically demanding it is, but also how rough and fast the sport can intensify to. Catch the oldest game in the world's action-packed All-Ireland Semi-Finals this August.

Played with a hurley and sliotar, not only is hurling said to be the world's oldest game but it's also one of the fastest field sports on the planet.

When the Celts arrived in Ireland after the last ice age, they brought to Ireland their own language, culture and sport, the most notable being hurling. Featured in most tales of Irish folklore, hurling is still just as prominent today in Ireland as it is believed to have been thousands of years ago.

With a team of 15 players representing each county in the All-Ireland Hurling Championship, these games will show the best four teams in Ireland battle it out for a place in the coveted GAA Hurling All-Ireland Senior Championship Finals.

Will Kilkenny be able to keep their title as All-Ireland Hurling Champions for 2016?
