Food & Drink Tours

Brewery Hops of Ireland began in 2011 in response to the growing amount of craft breweries in Ireland producing quality, flavoursome beers, then approximately 20 now double that and by 2015 it’s estimated 60 craft breweries will be operating in Ireland. The business specialises in small group tours which provide the traveller and beer enthusiast with a unique and high quality holiday experience. The tour combines an appreciation of Ireland's emerging independent craft beer industry with visits to the abundance of heritage sites interspersed among the stunning scenery that Ireland has to offer.
Since it began, Brewery Hops has also become more focused on artisan food visits which combine well with the brewery visits. It also sources quality food establishments for meals with a primary focus on local produce.

The 5 day tour will start and finish in Dublin, taking in the stunning West of Ireland spending as much time on the Wild Atlantic Way as possible. The Wild Atlantic Way has recently been launched in Ireland, a coastal route stretching from the Inishowen peninsula in County Donegal to Kinsale in County Cork. Five of our brewery visits are along this amazing scenic coastline and others take us off the beaten track completely. There will be the opportunity to visit heritage sites, ancient ruins, neolithic monuments, small villages, beautiful coastlines, dramatic cliffs as well as the craft brewery and food producer visits. In the evenings accommodation is included in quality B&B's and small hotels keeping the emphasis on the local and personal experience. All are carefully sourced in towns where live traditional music is served up with quality beers making for the perfect end to a busy and exciting tour day.
