"At twenty years old, you wonder about your past, present and future. You sometimes wonder who you are. Adopted at the age of 3 months in Vietnam, I always felt attached to it. However, I realised that I didn’t belong to this country. Its landscapes, its language and faces are not a part of my life. The only thing I keep from there is my origin, my genes. In France, I am different because of my skin color, my appearance. In Vietnam, I am different because of everything else. A foreigner who doesn’t look like one. Made in Vietnam tells the story of what being adopted means to me'.
