Pete St John, one of Ireland’s greatest songwriters, will act as host & compere of this show. Pete's songs have been recorded by some of Ireland’s greatest names including The Dubliners, Ronnie Drew, Paddy Reilly, Luke Kelly, Patsy Watchorn and many others. The show will feature Pete's songs including The Rare Ould Times, Donegal Danny, My Ringsend Rose, The Ferryman, The Mero, Johnny McGory, When Margaret Was 11 and, of course, Pete's best known song The Fields of Athenry. Pete will also tell many stories of the characters he has met along the way.
