Titanic: The Artefact Exhibition, which has been seen by over 22 million people worldwide, arrives at the Citywest Event Centre, Dublin.

The compelling human stories of those who died and those who survived are retold through recreated sets, identical to the rooms aboard the ship, and using more than 300 authentic artefacts recovered from the Titanic's wreck site.

A top hat, a gentleman's spectacles, the Titanic bell, the steering-wheel stand, the officers' window, china from all three classes, a telegraph base, the perfume of Saalfeld and a piece of Titanic's hull . . . these and many other objects offer emotional connections to lives abruptly ended or forever altered.

Visitors will receive a replica boarding pass of a Titanic passenger before embarking on a chronological journey through the ship's construction to life on board, the ill-fated sinking, and rescue efforts.

They can tour recreated first and third-class cabins, the ship's cargo hold and boiler room, press their palms against an actual iceberg, and learn some of the countless stories of heroism and humanity of her passengers and crew.

One gallery is dedicated to local Irish connection and how the country reacted to the tragedy. In the final gallery, guests can take their boarding pass to the memorial wall and learn if their passenger and travelling companions survived or perished.
