The Screen Directors Guild of Ireland's Digital Biscuit is an event of combined programmed talks and technology expositions over three days. National and global industry leaders will come together to ignite the creative industry by focusing on Ireland's capabilities as a creative and technological leader in innovative film and television production. The public will also get an opportunity to engage with premiere product launches of latest cameras, tablets, computers and software.
Digital Biscuit will host a number of internationally acclaimed film industry professionals who are at the forefront of new digital filmmaking techniques, including David Yates (Director Harry Potter Series), Richard Baneham (VFX Avatar) and Darragh O'Connell (Co-founder Brown Bag Films). These people will give inspiring talks on the landscape of film as it is today with advice on how directors can use technology to break boundaries, enhance their work and make their content even more visually creative.
