The National Gallery of Ireland has been a fortunate beneficiary of important work by Jack B. Yeats and his family, in particular the Anne Yeats Gift (1996) which comprises 205 sketchbooks amounting to about 10,000 individual sketches. This exhibition will feature a selection of Yeats’s sketchbooks spanning 50 years of the artist’s career.
