For Christmas, The Pictures (axis’ film club for the over 55s) will be celebrating with seasonal classic The Shop Around the Corner. This 1940 American romantic comedy stars James Stewart & Margaret Sullavan, and is about two gift shop employees who can barely stand each other…not realizing they're falling in love as anonymous correspondents through their letters.
